Midland County students have access to 18+ Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, camps and career exploration activities at their schools. We make it happen.
Officially, we are the CTE arm of the Midland County ESA. But we’re so much more.
At ConnECTed, we believe students don’t have to choose a career destination yet – just a direction. From there, it’s all about the journey. Consider us your tour guides, removing barriers and linking you to opportunities.
Like our name indicates, we are focused on CTE because we believe it enhances discovery and decision-making.
If you’d like to talk specifically about your child and his or her needs, please reach out to us at cte@midlandesa.org or call (989) 631-5890 ext. 2113. Otherwise, browse our camps and classes to look for ways to engage your children in meaningful learning experiences designed to help them wonder more…and wander less…when it comes to the future.
Perkins V Info
The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, also known as Perkins V, requires that states establish a performance accountability system designed to assess the effectiveness of the state in achieving statewide progress in career and technical education. The state-developed performance measures must consist of core indicators, additional indicators that the state determines, and the state-adjusted levels of performance for the core indicators. States are required to continually make progress toward improving the performance of career and technical education students. The most recent Perkins Core Performance Indicators (CPI) for Midland County CTE Programs can be found here: CPI Area Totals
